Kelland Watts was the only Magpie out on loan on display this evening in the Carabao Cup.

The 20-year-old made his second straight start for Plymouth Argyle as they took on Lleyton Orient.

It was a night of highs and lows for Watts.

The center-back got off the mark for his loan club with a goal in the 34th minute to put the Pilgrims ahead 2-0.

However, Lleyton Orient clawed their way back into the game with three second-half goals including one in extra time to advance to the third round.

Goalkeeper Jake Turner was on the bench for Morecambe who defeated Oldham 1-0 to become our third round opponents next week.
