The report claims that Newcastle want to bring Djalo to Newcastle in January.

Newcastle are reportedly tracking another teenager for a possible January move.



He went on to make a further two appearances but has since rejoined Portugal’s youth set-up.



Football Insider are claiming that Newcastle have had scouts watching 16-year-old Matchoi Djalo who plays in Portugal for Pacos de Ferreira.

There is no mention of a fee but the player does have a contract with Pacos de Ferreira until 2022.

There will be competition for the teenager as Italian champions Juventus and Everton are said to be highly interested in the youngster.

Over the past few months, there have been links with Rochdale’s Luke Matheson, Queens Park’s Reagan Thomson, and Carlisle’s Jarrad Branthwaite among others.
