Paper Talk: Man Utd to take drastic measures to ship Sanchez to Roma

Manchester United are ready to take drastic measures to ship Alexis Sanchez to Roma, while Tottenham fear one of their top stars is planning to leave on a free, according to Wednesday’s newspapers.

Manchester United may pay some of Alexis Sanchez’s wages if the Chile forward agrees to make a loan move to Roma.

The 30-year-old faces being banished to the club’s reserves unless he agrees to a move abroad before the September 2 deadline.

Red Devils boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is desperate to get rid of the £505,000-a-week flop and while Roma want him on loan, they are refusing to pay his huge salary.

The report in The Sun claims that United will have to fork out another £8.6million in wages until the January transfer window if Sanchez does not leave.

Solskjaer has not been keen on the Chile forward since day one, having watched from afar as he failed to spark for United.

The former Arsenal star has also reportedly proved to be a negative influence behind the scenes, particularly during Jose Mourinho’s reign.
