Rafa Benitez confirms two injured players set to return for Newcastle v Wolves

Rafa Benitez met the media and confirmed that he will have two injured Newcastle stars back for Wolves, if they train on Saturday.

Rafa Benitez met up with the media on Friday afternoon ahead of Sunday’s match.



Paul Dummett was injured when away with Wales last month, his hamstring injury has now cleared up and Rafa Benitez says that he will also be in contention against Wolves, once more though with the proviso that he doesn’t have any setback in training tomorrow.



“Wolves are a very good team – they have had the same manager for a while and have been playing the same way.

Kenedy missed Everton because of a toe injury but Rafa confirmed he is now training again and if he trains ok on Saturday, he will be in the squad.

Newcastle take on Wolves as they try to build on a six match run where they have picked up 11 points.

The NUFC boss had good news today, confirming he is set to have two Newcastle stars back in contention.
