Steve Bruce has admitted he is keen to make Danny Rose's loan move from Tottenham Hotspur into a permanent deal.

The Newcastle United boss was delighted to secure the England man's services back in January and will recommend his board step up and push a full-time offer in front of the ex-Leeds United defender.



He said: "Listen, Danny Rose is a stick on.



Bruce told the Chronicle: "He is an established quality player.

Bruce also feels that Rose's presence in the dressing room alone will boost competition, standards and the battle for places.
