Ryan Fraser is more than capable of standing on his own two feet, but it has not taken long for Newcastle United's senior players to take the 26-year-old under their wing.



There was no doubt that Fraser was an exciting prospect when he rocked up on the South Coast, following his move from Aberdeen, but the young winger was still maturing - and Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe recognised that.



Fraser had previously been partial to a meat feast pizza from Domino's and Baskin-Robbins' ice cream for dessert, and it did not take Howe long to arrange cooking lessons for the new arrival.

Was it any wonder, then, that it took Fraser time to settle as Tommy Elphick, Bournemouth's captain at the time, remembers.
